Andrei Rublev’s ‘Trinity’ (the most famous Russian icon) will be returned to the Russian Orthodox Church
Christ the Savior Cathedral in Moscow is the first stop, followed by the Holy Trinity Lavra in Sergiev Posad
For many years it was exhibited at the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, but soon it will be transfered to the place of its origin - the St. Sergius Trinity Lavra.
Before the transfer, the icon will be situated for a whole year in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow.
