Russia is an "Ark of Normalcy" for Traditional Christians from the West, says Senior Russian Official
Tens of thousands could relocate to the country to raise families, Evgeny Primakov predicted
Russia is perceived as an “ark of normalcy and serenity” to Westerners who appreciate traditional family and cultural values, according to Evgeny Primakov, the head of an agency in charge of humanitarian contacts. Tens of thousands of such people may move to the country, he believes.
Primakov heads an agency called Rossotrudnichestvo, which is tasked, among other things, with fostering interpersonal interactions with foreigners. He touted resettlement projects for Western migrants in an interview with the newspaper Izvestia on Thursday.

“We are discussing an ‘American village’ in Moscow Region. We plan to allocate 27 hectares (67 acres) for this project near Serpukhov,” he said, referring to a city located about 100 km (60 miles) south from the Russian capital.
“Some foreigners are already moving to Yaroslavl Region [250km (155 miles) northeast of Moscow]. And there will be more of them,” he added.
Potentially, tens of thousands of people from unfriendly nations of NATO, the US and Europe are considering moving to Russia and are ready to take practical steps to do that.
Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyev confirmed this week that his administration was eager to accommodate “Americans.” The region is “glad to welcome every new resident, especially those who bring something smart, useful and important with them,” he told journalists. Both he and Primakov were speaking on the sidelines of the ongoing St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The ‘American village’ is set to house 200 families from the US and Canada who are seeking to flee their home countries for ideological reasons, according to a Russian immigration attorney involved in the project. The construction, which will begin next year, is being funded by the settlers themselves, Timur Beslangurov explained last month.

I would love to see Russia move in the direction of having a 1st and 2nd amendment. Or all 10 for that matter.
I imagine the number is more like millions. The Dutch farmers who have just had their land taken away from them, after generations of successful farming. The German manufacturers who can no longer afford the gas to drive their factories and know full well that 'green energy' is unreliable and inconsistant. The English entrepreneurs who are facing a China-style control of their money after the collapse of the pound and the coming totalitarianism of CBDC's.
Here in Melbourne Australia, one in four shop fronts are still abandoned two years after the communist premier Dan Andrews boasted that he presided over 'the most locked down city in the world'.
After tanks rolling down the streets of Melbourne and police shooting at unarmed civilians who just wanted to keep their businesses open, our economy is utterly ruined. Small businesses, young families and professionals have fled, leaving behind abandoned properties, their broken glass windows simply taped up because no one can afford to (or be bothered with) replacing the glass.
Community groups anxious about simply finding food, fuel, health services and a worthwhile currency to trade with are popping up all across Australia, New Zealand and other Western countries, like mushrooms after the rain.
Like a foolish girl the West has flirted with communism for decades, as though it was a new toy. Now the wolf of totalitarianism is devouring the entire Western world. What did people honestly expect? All they had to do was read Solzhenitsyn or Bulgakov.
The East will flourish. Putin has build a solid economy, while warning the West it was on a path to ruin. Russia now has multiple ex Americans setting up 'move to Russia' businesses, podcasts, real estate deals etc. Eastern European countries like Hungary who staunchly resisted the communist EU are already being touted as the startup capitols of Europe.
I'm so sorry for the ordinary person caught up in this disaster, particularly the young, who face a generation of economic and social collapse. But like many, I warned for decades about the dangers of communism. It's anti Christian rhetoric and the brainwashing in schools of children taught to hate their own culture, their parents, and even their own bodies. Nobody wanted to listen.
And here we are. It's Biblical, literally. And like the Bible, it's also a lesson.
