False! Most of Ukraine was ruled by Poland from the 14th to the 18th century. Hence, the Ukrainian language is based on Russian but has a heavy Polish influence. The idea that the Ukrainian language was "invented" by British intelligence in the late 19th century is laughable and absurd.
Thank you for this article, Father. I concur with you and I’m also concerned about liberal attitudes among the rank and file in the Greek Orthodox Church Of America. I’m also concerned about some hierarchy. As a mere observer and as a member of the GOA, I do believe that most of the priests adhere to the teachings of the Church as revealed and given to us. Sadly, this isn’t coming from the pulpit, however. We need greater boldness from our priests and bishops.

I try to donate but are asked to supply a valid e-mail address. I tried movingtorussia@substack.com with no luck. Please advice.
