While here in the US, we are having gay pride and divisive ethnic “months” foisted on us, Russia is doing the right thing and promoting the family.

I believe its too late to promote the family, there are so many more people who do not fit the mold of a traditional family. Discrimination could seriously increase if restriction are seriously increased. In the U.S. may young couples do not even want to marry. Then what about the crisis rising from far to many humans on this earth. Fewer births are necessary, this planet cannot support those who are already here, where humans are really killing each other by the thousands. Today human life is in the state of fear, and fear causes so much violence.

The issue is multi-faceted. Rising costs of living, outdated marriage laws (e.g. alimony), untenable immigration policy (causing increased competition for resources such as housing and work), legacy media push for abortions, new media push for avoidance of marriage (e.g. MGTOW and amplification of terrible gender relations on social media), and the widespread messaging on the elevation of personal finances for the purpose of consumerism rather than sacrifice for child-rearing.

At the same time, families of non-Westernised cultures that move to the West do not have a problem with sacrificing personal finances and living conditions to have multiple children - so it is possible with the right cultural background. To them, it is of no concern that there are alimony laws for they do not consider divorce, abortions are forbidden, and they are fine with living with multiple family members under one roof. However, this of course only lasts the first generation, before their own offspring get caught in the traps and also limit the number of offspring they have or shun having children altogether if the decision is not punished by their families.

Whilst the number of people the Earth can support and in what condition can be disputed, Western "leaders" seem to believe that our infrastructure is unbreakable, as shown by their generous immigration policies. Let's hope that in as soon as a 100 years we can look back at this as a time of mass-psychosis and carelessness not to be repeated.
