This article makes me very sad because obviously many Christians still believe satan's lie about the shape of the earth, DISREGARDING the scriptures about the subject. People have been taught the lie from birth so they will not even think about questioning it. Please Fr. Joe, give me proof that the earth is a ball spinning around in an infinite universe, nobody else has been able to (don't send any nasa fake photos). Luckily even today many resources can still be found to educate people on this subject, for example the great book by Edward Hendrie, "The greatest lie on earth" (available on amazon), The Flat Earth FAQ by Eric Dubay and of course the classic "Zetetic astronomy" by Samuel Rowbotham.
The claim is made by the writer that the shape of the earth is irrelevant to one's salvation, and so it need not be considered.
However, once one has the spirit of God indwelling, then the truth becomes undeniable - one must therefore question the status before God of those who, despite having had the true state of affairs explained to them, nevertheless persist in their error.
Let them consider.
If God commanded Adam and Eve to go forth and multiply, then on a finite earth, their obeying of the commandment would quite quickly have become problematic, as their progeny expanded in number exponentially.
Did God not consider this before issuing the commandment?
Of course He did.
This is why the size of the earth is never mentioned either in Genesis or anywhere else; in fact, the implication is that it is infinite, as in the scripture which states that our sins will be set apart from us as far as east is from west.
Earth is four-cornered and flat and unmoving, and as numbers expand, the firmament is simply moved outwards to accommodate everybody in the perfect state of bliss that was always envisaged by the Most High.
Science has become the new religion since the so-called 'enlightenment' (satan likes to be called the 'light-bearer', but it has made society spiritually empty (if you remove God from your mind you automatically make room for someone else..)

If the 'saints' so called, are in conflict with the Scriptures, the latter wins hands down. The Bible is 100% motionless earth, shaped like the face of a clock. The verses that suggest as much are too numerous to cite here. I'd not have believed it, based on 60 years of indoctrination, until the Lord Jesus Christ told me to 'study it'. I spent just 72 hours in the Scriptures, and was already convinced that they were lies that say earth is a spinning g ball, dating back to Clement and Copernicus, yet the Lord did even more and has since provided 1000s of elements of empirical evidence, that the Earth is his 'motionless' footstool, with a sun and moon circling overhead. All anyone with holy spirit need do, is ask him.

Joe might like to comment on Tyndale's original translation into English from the Hebrew of what became 2 Samuel 11, 11 in the KJV.
He translates the phrase in question as "On the flat earth", whereas the KJV for some reason best known to its translators replaced this with "In the open fields."
Mr Copernicus of course used Tycho Brahe's precise observations of heavenly movements to hypothesize a globe earth, whereas Brahe held to the notion - fully compatible with his observations - that the sun revolved around the earth, whilst the planets revolved around it in their turn.
Now no matter what these estimable saints and churchly dignitaries say, it is abundantly clear that the horizon line appears to be completely flat, and thus if flat along the horizon, then also flat towards the observer.
And I blush to remind Joe of the entity he seeks to elevate when he speaks of a globe earth; none other than the Prince of Darkness, who also shares his faith in a globe, with his two index fingers pointing both up and down, and accompanied by the statement, "As above, so below."
Scripture makes repeated references to the unmoving status of the earth; as such then, it cannot be revolving, and so such a body cannot be illuminated alternately by the sun as earth supposedly orbits it - especially as it wasn't made until four days after earth was made.
